On March 18, 2024, the graduation ceremony for the class of 2024 was held at Act City Hamamatsu under clear skies.
Okamura, Doi, and Minami graduated from the graduate school, and Okada, Nakase, Nakamura, and myself, Tsunoda, graduated from the undergraduate school.
At the celebration party after the ceremony, we enjoyed delicious food, chatting, and taking pictures while chewing on the joy that all of us were able to graduate without incident. All the dishes were delicious, but everyone seemed to especially like the steak, which they filled their plates to the brim before it ran out!
Some of them will start their careers in April, and some will go on to higher education, but they will try their best in their new lives without forgetting the perseverance and the attitude of enjoying things that they have cultivated in Okabe Laboratory!
If we meet again sometime, let's have a toast with delicious sake :-) - Azumi

We participated in the 197th Research and Presentation Meeting of the Computer Graphics and Visual Informatics (CGVI) on March 5 and 6! Okamura, Okada, Tsunoda, Nakase, and Nakamura gave their presentations, receiving numerous questions and comments, making it a highly meaningful research presentation. Furthermore, Nakase's presentation and research were highly regarded, earning him the Student Presentation Award!
During the lunch break, we went out for lunch together and enjoyed a delicious meal.
Through these presentations, we gained new perspectives and insights for improvement, providing valuable hints for the future direction of our research.
We will continue to deepen our research and strive for the next presentation! - Naoki

We held a New Year's party in our lab.
The dishes from Nakano-san were fantastic, especially the seafood spring rolls!
We had a great time playing Momotetsu together, and it was a really fun evening.
A big thank you to everyone who helped with the preparations. I'm looking forward to our next event! - Makoto
